The function of a convention booth is different for each company. There are many different booth sizes and shapes, but the one thing all convention booths have in common, is they need to be optimized to promote a company’s product and give a good solid impression of what the company is all about. Designing a convention or trade show space for your company can seem overwhelming at first but if you keep a few simple principles in mind throughout the process you will end up with a functional space you can be proud of.
First, you need to think about your product or service and the ways you can showcase them both to individuals in one on one conversation and to anyone passing by your booth. If you are promoting a product, staging part of your booth as a demonstration area will help you draw people in and also ensure you are showcasing your product in a planned and thought out environment. Trade show kiosks are the perfect way to help you create a demonstration area. Kiosks can be branded with images and text. They can also be used to display product when you are not giving a personal demonstration.
Another thing to think about when you are designing your booth and choosing what kiosk or kiosks will be right for your business is, how many people you think you will have in your booth at once. Will you have enough booth staff to engage everyone who stops by? In addition to your demonstration kiosk, you may find it beneficial to have an interactive digital kiosk or two in your booth as well. These interactive stations will provide people who are less comfortable with personal interaction a way to find out more about your product. They will also provide you with a way to engage someone until you can wrap up a conversation you are having with another client.
That is interesting that designing a trade show space for a company could help you end up with a functional space. Maybe it would be good to get some trade show exhibit spaces if I were a company owner. This is something I am sure a company owner would want to look into sometime soon.
